Former forwards on the Dartmouth women's hockey team Cherie Piper '06 (far left) from Scarborough, Ontario, and Gillian Apps '06 (second from left) from Unionville, Ontario, helped Canada's team win gold for the third straight year. The medal is Piper's third gold, and Apps' second. Learn more about Piper and Apps.

The surprise bronze medalist in the men's super-G was Dartmouth student Andrew Weibrecht '09 (third from left), an earth sciences major from Lake Placid, N.Y. His medal is Dartmouth's first in alpine skiing since 1994. Read an interview with Weibrecht, and see more coverage below.

See the results of all nine Dartmouth Olympians, who also excelled on the international stage in biathlon and cross-country skiing.

Since 1924, Dartmouth athletes have appeared in the Winter Olympics 120 times—more than any other Ivy League school.
