Like their peers in colleges across the country, they are choosing to devote time between academic terms to community service. frostROBERT FROST'S DARTMOUTH LECTURES PUBLISHED. James Sitar '01 was an undergraduate when he first discovered phonotapes of Frost's lectures in Rauner Special Collections Library, and he spent much of the past eight years organizing and transcribing the material. In his introduction to the transcribed lectures, Sitar wrote that Frost was especially open at Dartmouth, where he matriculated as a member of the Class of 1896. "There he had a loyal audience of students, locals, and good friends, and he felt comfortable enough to speak from his gut."
